How has being involved in Angel Light Academy helped you to do better in School?


Ricky Paredes: Since I started the ALA afterschool program, I have been given the highest achievement in academic awards, and I also got the principals award to be reclassified in reading. Age 11

Raphael Luna: Age 16

Diego Gonzales: I am becoming a better student because I work harder do more activities. I got the student of the month award and my parents were very happy. Age 6

In what way do you feel that the Leadership Training Programs of Angel Light Academy benefit the children who participate in them?


Brent Root, Principal: They have gained confidence in their ability to solve problems, and seem to have risen above the typical level of maturity of 6th graders.


Rosa Castillo, Student Assistance Program, Desert Sands Unified School District: ALA makes a big difference in the lives of so many children, who in turn will make a difference for so many more.


Sheryl Cherrison, Assistant to the Dean of the College of Medicine, University of California, Irvine: I wholeheartedly endorse the Leadership Training Institute, and hope to see a future generation of impeccable leaders that value helping others and unselfishly giving of their time and energy for excellence in the generations of the future.
